The Dave Appell Student Musical Instrument Fund enables UArts music students to purchase, repair, or upgrade their instruments; an opportunity that would be otherwise unavailable to them. “A good instrument is a crucial factor to a good sound. This repair donation has enabled me to play my instrument comfortably for the first time since I have owned it and has allowed me to develop my art form more than I ever could have otherwise,” says award recipient and bass player Stefan Kauriga, Instrumental Performance major.
